Group Lessons

Joanne runs regular group lessons at Cote Hill on Tuesday & Thursday evenings, these sessions are for children & adults and cover jumping and flatwork.  A space on a lesson is £6 per person and you must bring a horse or pony as we do not hire ours.  There is a maximum of 5 riders in a session. Details below;

Group Lessons at your own yard are available at the following rate.

within 3 miles -  2-riders £13 each for 45 mins, 3-4 riders £10 each, 5-6 riders £7 each

within 10 miles, 2-riders £15 each for 45 mins, 3-4 riders £11 each, 5-6 riders £8 each

within 20 miles, 2-riders £20 each for 45 mins, 3-4 riders £14 each, 5-6 riders £9 each

within 40 miles, 2-riders £25 each for 45 mins, 3-4 riders £16 each, 5-6 riders £10 each

Horse Training

Joanne is occasionally available to train horses on the flat and over fences at the rate of a lesson.

2 day Open Centered Riding Clinic £160 total mounted / £30 per day unmounted per person

2 day 'Reflective Riding' Clinic with Joanne Forster £100 total mounted / £20 per day unmounted per person

1 day 'Reflective Riding' clinic with Joanne Forster £50 mounted/£20 unmounted per person

Horse Handling/Childrens Pony Handling Workshop (2-3 hours) this workshop is designed to help participants understand how the horse thinks and learns.  Please contact us with your number of participants and your requirements. Price on application

'Reflective Riding' unmounted workshops

£15 per person - these can be arranged for groups at external venues at a group rate, requirements are 8 + people per workshop, please contact us for further details.  Discounts available for larger groups.

Remedial Starting/Restarting Horses

Joanne no longer takes horses for starting or restarting due to her other commitments - however she can recommend another qualified trainer who specialises in this field.  Please contact us for details

Arena Hire

£10 per horse per hour, £5 per additional horse, *for riding clubs, pony clubs & groups of riders the charge is max £25 per hour.
